  1. I dont think so, coz in any given time, it is impossible for ALL the people to be sleeping at the same time. what about guards, bakers, night clubs, etc..

Also the ppl who sleep with lights on, etc..

    so no.

  2. I think your idea is good but not good enough to cure the global warning problem. We all should participate in environmental protection starting from our living area by doing at least most of the followings. Drive less, consume the least energy, don't forget to shut off your car engine while parking, try to car pool to work and back home (if possible), try to take more buses instead of driving our own cars, try to walk for short distance trips, try to use less plastic bags, try to use the reuseable bag to shop, and many other basic environmental concerned things.

The following websites shows you about Earth Hour and how it calculate the time zones and earth science. http://ca.search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A...

I think global warning is more pertaining to save this living world by all of us without any delay.

Many are hopspitalized for treatment and awaiting to die, and more than one million citizens are required to revisit the clinics periodically and needed to take many diffierent kinds of pills on a daily basis.

  3. it depends on which country and time zone you live. but you must do it in 8 to 9 pm on where you are.

  4. Isn't it just lights? I was about to post that question.

  5. Yeh what the first person replied.  But only lights.

It will be interesting to see what the sudden drop in load on the power grid at the start and the sudden increase at the end will do.  Especially in places with nuclear.  I suppose they will know it is going to happen and take measures to combat it though.

  6. Since I will be turning on all of my lights as well as using as many of my electric appliances as possible, I can pretty much assure you that EVERYONE will not.
