I was at a Farmer Boys the other day and as some customers were leaving they rang a bell that was by the door. Why? By bell i mean an old fashioned bell that you have to pull to make it sound. So why did they ring the bell? As a sign that they like the meal? Just curious.

  1. It's a traditional way of saying you like the food and / or service.  Other places such as Arby's have them too.

  2. They have that at Fuddruckers too. It's just to tell the employees they enjoyed their meal.
