At King's Dominion, Is it safe to ride the drop zone?

i watched a video about someone getting their feet cut off at a ride similar to it at six flags. Is it safe? should i ride it? i really want to, but now im scared cuz i don't want anything to happen.

Is it safe..... in short yes. Could something happen .... in short yes.   It is as safe as it can be, but there is always that chance.   So you have to make your own decision on that one

What happened at Six Flags was simply because of lack of maintenance and the ride ops failing to do what they were trained to do (hit the 'E' button in case of emergencies).  If the ride had proper maintenance, and the ride ops had hit the 'E' stop button like they were trained, when the riders were yelling at them to stop the ride, Kaitlyn Lassiter may never had lost her feet in the accident.

With that said, I've been on Drop Zone, it's an awesome ride, you should ride it.  Accidents at amusement parks are rare, even though we hear about them happening and we think it's something that's constant, they really are rare occurrences.  I think if you don't ride it, you'll regret it.

Ya its totally safe.  6 flags was a one time thing that was lack of manence check.  It is nothing to worry about hope you have fun and hope this helped!
