I am having some issues configuring my AT&T DSL to work with my Exchange Server. I have contacted A&T/Yahoo a few different times and have not received any type of solution, and so I am hoping someone here can help.
Anyway to get to the point, we have a company that operates a few satellite offices that use AT&T for our internet needs. We have a variety of employees that visit the satellite offices a day or two of the week and then return to our main office. When they are at the satellite office we are unable to send any mail through our exchange server. Everywhere else we go everything works fine. The only way we can send mail when at the site we need to change the smtp settings to the one provided by Y! and then add them as a Sub-Account from our main address. This is very time consuming and a huge pain in the rear.
AT&T support claims that they are not blocking anything, and I should be able to send mail without any issues, and blame our server for the problems. Then I walk accross the street to the coffee shop connect to the internet and just like magic can send mail.
We also have a printer on site that has a scan to email function, and unfortunately will support SSL. So since I can not configure the printer at all it has become useless.
I need to know if there is a way to be able to bypass the AT&T/Yahoo mail server, or if I am going to need to kick them and their service to the curb.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
