At & T or Charter for Internet and DVR service?

Question

I have Charter Cable right now and I hate it but I was wondering what AT & T was like for internet AND DVR service. My DVR box from Charter is glitching and they replace it but it only lasts 2 months...so then I have to watch through shows with snow pics on them...If you have AT & T or any info on them let me know..i.e. start up fees, deposits and such....

Hi wrangler,

I had AT&T and it was passable. Slow compared to cable and lousy customer service.

In my area I get Comcast for cable and that was the best move I ever made.

I had Charter in Knoxville TN and it was TERRIBLE! My feeling is AT&T would be better for you if those are your only choices.
