At UCI, is it possible to live in a double occupancy dorm alone?

i want to live alone but the best i can get is a double occupancy room. i hear people leave the dorm so i'm betting on it.

Are you kidding? With the budget cuts they need every cent. If someone moves out someone else moves in.

UCI has some on campus housing owned by for profit companies. You would be able to pay for the additional space and get your own apartment there, but probably not as a freshman. Call though.
