At What Age Does Plum Wine Taste Best?

Is there an age at which plum wine tastes best, or does it get better with age?

Is that what they call 'glug' and/or slivovitz (sp?) in Poland and thereabouts?

Well, to me it tasted best when I was 12: I snuck into the liquor cabinet and swiped a healthy glassful from a bottle that our next-door Polish neighbor made in his basement. Man o man, that went down smooth! I've had it many times since, but that first taste at 12 was the best taste.

Wait: are you going up-scale on us and talking about Japanese plum wine? Como dicen en Mexico, eso es otra clase.
