  1. Never talk while eating it.

  2. break in half, dip into soup, place in mouth, and eat with lips closed if you need to open your gob whilst eating said bun then your mouth is overfilled so spit some out.

  3. break pieces off and butter it and eat! :)

  4. Break bread using your hands - tear off a small piece, add butter or not and pop into mouth.

Chew with mouth closed - never speak while chewing.

  5. tear off a piece as put the whole thing in your mouth, but make sure it is not stuffed

  6. Break off a bite size piece, apply a small amount of butter and pop into mouth. Use fingers at all times, never a knife. I mean do not cut the bread with the knife, just use to butter your small piece.

  7. With your teeth.

Just make sure you're mouth is closed when you're chewing it.

Don't worry-- I doubt anyone cares about how you're eating a bread roll :]

  8. Put it in your mouth and chew it.

  9. Ah I was taught this by an ettiquette coach after complaining that in a hotel I stayed in my bread roll was too tough to cut.

Apparently you're supposed to tear small pieces off, you can usually do that from the middle where the roll is softer or has a fold. Then you're supposed to butter each small piece as you eat it.

  10. The roll should firstly be broken in half with your fingers(never cut with a knife). Butter should be placed on the side of your plate and you should then break off a small piece of the roll, add butter from your plate, and pop it into your mouth.

That's not only for a formal dinner, of course, it's the polite way to eat a bread roll where-ever you are, including at home.

  11. break it off with yoru teath
