    substitute initial conc and calculate


  2. [SO2] = [NO2] = 0.800 -x

    [SO3] = [NO] = x

    x^2 / (0.800-x)^2 = 3.75

    square root

    x/0.800-x = 1.94

    x = 1.55 - 1.94 x

    2.94 x = 1.55

    x = 0.528 M = [SO3] = [NO]

    [SO2] = [NO2] = 0.800 - 0.528 =0.272 M
