  1. The toasts are made right after the bride and groom are announced and everyone has been seated at the tables.

  2. The best man in my wedding did it right after my husband and I cut the cake.

  3. Before.  You have the bridal party's entrance and introduction which flows right into the first dance and the parents dance and then an invite for all other couples to join in to add happy years to this new marriage.  Then everyone takes their seats.  IF there will be a grace/prayer /invocation this is the place for that. Then the Best Man makes the formal toast to the bride and groom and everyone drinks to it and that is the signal that it is OK to start eating.  In this time when plates are served or people are on the buffet line anyone that wants to speak then or while everyone is still eating would tap on a glass to get everyone's attention and then they make another toast or speak or whatever.  As the meal ends the "reception begins with things like cutting the cake, bouquet and garter toss etc the formal set piece pictures and then the open dancing and free form fun.  Somewhere in here the bride and groom make a rounds of the table, to collect good wishes, any money envelopes for the bride's bag and the  new couple introduce any family and friends that the other does not know.  The Bride and Groom then just party and socialize until the time for the hall is up or they wish to leave to begin their night.  There can be a formal announcement that they are leaving or the couple can just slip away.  You should be sure to have someone who will check on the place when time is up for anything last minute that might come up.  When time is up, or they feel like it, the guests will go home and that is that.

  4. we do it during dinner.

  5. I've always seen them after dinner

  6. Is before you eat or during, definitely not after.

    Good Luck!!!

PD- Here some website that have tip on wedding toast.

  7. I've always seen them done after dinner but before the cake. Your guests already have to wait for the bridal party to arrive before they get to eat - don't make them wait through the speeches! As people start finishing up dinner, have the champagne passed around (if you're doing champagne) and make the toasts. Seriously, your guests will be much more inclined to listen AFTER they've been fed.

  8. Normally it is done before dinner.  After dinner people tend to scatter to talk to others at different tables.  Before dinner makes sure everyone has a place and is able to give their full attention.

  9. I would do it before dinner.

  10. before
