  1. It's not an alignment, but a balancing you need...

  2. You probably need a front end alignment.  Did you hit a curb or something solid recently?

  3. Get all your tires balanced.  Unbalanced tires loose their roundness when a section of the tire is slightly heavier than another section.  Your car begins to shake after reaching high speeds if the weight clips along the edge of your rim have shifted or were not properly balanced at your local tire/auto shop.

Have it done/redone where the balancing equipment used are digital and not done manually.

    Good luck!

  4. Two possibilities come to mind:

    1.  Your front end needs an alignment performed at a shop with the proper equipment....

    2. You may have at least one of the two front wheels out of balance. This can be done at a tire repair shop.

This is what I usually find is wrong with my vehicles when they do this. Another thought is to have the CV joint checked, as it may be starting to wear and higher speeds may be showing this.

  5. oooh i dont know but that happened on my bf's renault clio at about 60mph, and it eventually stopped. (started after he went over a bump really fast- idiot)

  6. possibly an allignment needs to be done

  7. could be ball joints, bad tire or rim, dont drive. danger will robinson. Get to a repair center asap.

  8. You definitley do not need an alignment to fix this problem, although it might not hurt...

The fact that its happening at speed tells me that your front tires need to be balanced on the rim. You woulnt notice the problem at low speed because when a tire is out of balance, it is generally such a small amount out af wack that only at high speeds does the problem amplify and make itself known.

It shouldnt cost more than $20 at your local tire shop to fix em...

  9. You need to balance your wheels. Take it into a mechanics it should be cheap. They just put small weights on the wheels to even it out.

  10. people are stupid. if ur alignment is off your car veers when you let go of the steering wheel. if it shakes like that 98% of the time you need your tires balanced. take it to a discount tire and have them rotated and balanced or just balanced and there ya go if it will stop

  11. Get the wheels balance and alignment checked first. Then poss your steering rack could be bent.

  12. it sounds to me like ur wheels need to be balanced
