He is living off daddy clueless. Without his daddy you wouldn't know who he is or cheer for him. February 2001 remember that date? Dale Smith JR would have the least amount of merchandise sales of anyone because of that boring personality but instead his last name is Earnhardt and he has that marketable last name.

i don't consider him a young gun. he's been in the sport 5+ years and is over 30. a young gun is someone like kyle busch, aric almirola, and micheal mcdowell.

No, he used to be part of the young guns, a few years ago, I forget exactly when but he's not anymore. But Newman is still a young gun and has been forever! But he's still 30, but thats not "young"

I personally dont think he's one of the young guns anymore. He  used to be but you knew he grew up just as all people do. He's in his 30's he's not old to be racing but he isnt young either.

No, he's not in the commercials either.

It's difficult to agree he's 'living off daddy' when he's a team owner, is running for HMS, lives on his own property which obviously he pays for, has his own restaurant/bar, owns part of a racetrack with K. Schrader, has a real estate company, etc, among other things. . .Yeah, sounds like daddy's still paying his rent there.  Smart people we got here.
