I read that it was the car to the left of you, but someone told me that it was the car to the right of you. If anyone knows please let me know.

  1. In California, it's the car that gets to the intersection first, or if both arrive at the same time, it's the car on the right of you.  If there is no car on the right, then WHHHHEEEE!!! you are the lucky one!

  2. The vehicle to the right has the right of way......

  3. If you drive on the right side of the road, then it's the person to the right, hence right-of-way.

That's if they get there at the same time.

  4. the car on the right has the right of way

  5. If two cars come two a 4way stop at the same time - the car on the right has the right of way. If the cars are opposite each other- then the car who wants to turn left in front of the other car has to wait. If one car wants to turn right - and two cars are at opposing ends of an intersection, then the car turning right has the right of way.

  6. In most states, the vehicle to the right has the right of way if both vehicles got to the intersection at the same time. Otherwise, the vehicle that got there first has the right of way.

If you want to be 100% sure, Google your state's driver's manual. It should be available in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. Find the section of the manual that deals with intersections, and you will have your answer.

  7. the rights have it
