At and T Sim card in Side kick, will it work??

Thanks for helping me. I want to get the Unlocked tmobile side kick, but I dont have tmobile, I have at and t. I understand on how to unlock it, and what I can only do, but What else am I missing out on by using my at and t sim card in it.

Please help, I am need of a new phone.

sorry it won't work..the phone won't read the sim and will be locked in tmobiles service..even unlocking the sidekick won't work..sidekicks can't be unlocked

Ashton is wrong.

You can get a sidekick on AT&T.  You can use an AT&T sim card in the sidekick.  It will work.  The sidekick just needs to be unlocked.  Just pop your AT&T sim card in the sidekick and it'll work.  However, only texting and calling features will work. Nothing else will work on it.
