At end of cycle washer is full of...

Question

Not everytime probably half the time in use the washing machine(MAV2757aww maytag) top loader will be full of water..doesnt seem to be the timer beacause it had traveled to the end of cycle...not the door switch I jumped it and it still did it...no kinks in lines either....intermittent problems sux..I rather see something on fire..then i could go there it is....Is this pointing to the pump on its way out..Help Help thanks
