At lake erie a storm went buy, i went down there and 2 lizards washed up, they have 4 legs but a fish tail

thats strange, if its that big it wasnt a tadpole at all. did you catch one? haha try looking it up on a marine biology website because i have never heard of such a thing!

it could but a canary

Frog are hatched with a tail but no legs, (tadpole or pollywog). As the legs develop, the tail shrinks. What you have found are probably frogs in the later process of development.

ive seen these fish on the discovery channel that have fin-like legs that allow them to walk on land and mud.
