I would recommend in a group setting to wear either white briefs or whites boxer briefs.  They give you a little privacy wile also proving you are not afraid of others seeing your stuff.

If some one is forcing you to take group showers that sounds real odd.

I think you are projecting about something that probably won't happen. Most pool/gym showers have a common area but most places today have individual shower stalls for privacy, etc.

You can always take a shower with yer bathing suit/boxers on.

Guys horse around and I've seen everything from getting spit on to guys stinging  the victum with a wet towel. It's usually horseplay.
