When I ask if my partner can hear it he says no. I can only hear it for about 1-2 mins then it stops could it be supernaural ?Because I'm not mad.

What could it be?

  1. I get stuff like that too. Its called hypnogogic hallucinations. When you are falling asleep its very easy to have auditory hallucination like that.

On occasion I actually roll over and answer my wife because I think she just said something.

    Its not so uncommon.

In my case the words are quite audible and clear, and come in a number of voices.

It could be like the first answerer said also, a physiological responce.

  2. Youre actually mad . Mad people dont think that they are mad.Or maybe they just wont admit it .

  3. im not sure. you should tell your doctor about it though just to be safe.

  4. Wear earplugs to stop outside input and it will tell you if it is coming from inside or outside of your own head.

  5. maybe your place is haunted & you have a gift for hearing things in the spirit world

  6. I bet you are not hearing actual words. The whisoering sounds ar the rushing of the blood past your ears. When you lie down to sleep the blodd pressure in your head changes and it takes a few minutes for it to equalize, hence the "whispering" stops. Don't worry, it's physiological, not paranormal.

  7. There are sometimes sounds like these - I have heard a few times ,  also at night,  a sound like produced by a giant animal ,but I have dogs and I explained to myself that this audioeffect in the aura  could be connected with them .

  8. This can be due to a couple of things.  One, as mentioned above, could be your pulse.  Another is the possibility could have something to do with your senses.  Just as when you are blindfolded your hearing becomes more acute, when the lights go off our other senses become more in tune to what's going on.  So your hyper-sensitive ears are going to hear things with greater intensity than normal.  That means you could be making more of what's there.

  9. It could be the rushing sounds of blood in your ears or your partner disturbing you

  10. It's called clairaudience. I have lived with all my life.  Get used to it, like it or not your stuck with.  I just wish they would speak up a bit more, half the time I can't understand what they are saying.  And the ones that do speak up are sometimes rude old farts.  Children like to sing a lot.  Its a great ghost detector.

I think someone is trying to talk to you from the other side, they seem to know who can hear them. Talk back and say would please speak up so I can understand you.

  11. I can hear them too. do they tell you to burn things like they tell me?

  12. There are three possibilities.

    1. you need medical help.

    2. You are developing clairsentient abilities

    3. The veil between dimensions is thin in your area and you are hearing people talk in another dimension.

  13. I agree with john s. It's a transitional state if mind while drifting into a delta brain wave state (sleeping). You ever notice how certain ailments or emotional issues don't bother you when you're sleeping? It's because you're state of mind or neuronet exists in a pattern and waveform consistent with a category of brainwave states called alpha, beta, theta, and delta. As you are going from alpha or beta to delta, you are accessing, in my opinion, more advanced areas of the mind. I've heard voices, music especially in exact form, and various things while drifting off. I believe you access a more unlimited frame of mind when you "go to sleep". You're gonna catch alot of flak from skeptics on this!! Gotta hear it to believe it! haha.

  14. when they start telling you to do stuff, seek help.

  15. maybe you just have a very active imagination.  Sometimes I think I see little things running out of the corner of my eye.
