Please explain, scientifically if you can. This person is saying that it always has to be raining somewhere in the world and I am saying that they are wrong, because at one point, even if it is just a second, it is not raining everywhere in the world. I know I am right but I need a good explination because they just don't seem to understand.

  1. yes because of global warming.

  2. I highly doubt that there would be no rain in any given moment on Earth, except for early early history such as the ice age.  The rainforest especially is almost always raining, hence the name rainforest.  Considering the size of the earth and the CONSTANT cycling and movement of water, I can't imagine there be a minute without a drop of water falling from the sky.

  3. welll that cannot happen bcuz theres a rainforest callled cherrapungii and it never stops raining 24-7

  4. im not sure of the answer but it can be determined mathematically by using the probability for it to be raining at a certain place and then using these probabilities to determine the probability of it to be not raining anywhere in the world. My opinion is that the probability of it raining somewhere in the world is very high but there is a very small possibility that it isn't raining at all anywhere for a very short period of time.

  5. i guess its possible... good question

  6. I don't think I can really help you out there. I would like to know how that was possible myself.

  7. I can't explain I just think it is possible.

  8. 1.tell them to watch the news

    2.its common  since

3.look it up on the internet

  9. There is a place in Mexico I believe that never had  rain.

But it's not that it's impossible for it not to rain, it just always seem to rain somewhere in the world.

  10. That is really unprovable.  A missed observation of rain or a weather station that is down could affect how weather is reported.  That is why in those instances that missing data is recorded.    I guarantee you abolutely it has rained for the last 24 hours..  nonstop without a break..   ok.. how do I prove that...   look at the Philippines,  they have Tropical Storm Cosme embedded in the monsoonal flow.   I know for a fact looking at radar and satellite it has rained 100% of the time.

Look at the ITCZ...  that is a band of showers that wraps around the earth and that is 24hours a day..  Oh yes, it rains all the time at different places.   I know this...   I've been an observer, forecaster and meteorologist for nearly 30 years lol

It has nothing to do with 'global warming'. lol God!!!!
