The phone showed a older man trying to hear someone on the other end, then his daughter had to finish the conversation. Then it showed a phone for the hearing impaired that when you talk into the headset the other person words came up on the screen where you can read everyword that person says back to you. If you have seen the ad or have the number Please let me know I need that phone really bad.

Thanks Alot

  1. What you asking about, I couldn't find

    What I could find for you is an array of assistance phones.

    Hope this helps you out,at least a good starting point for you.

    Good Luck!

  2. Tally is right your talking about a TTY or TDD device

               The device doesn't type out words.There is an interpreter in the middle typing the words out. The call has to start off going through the TDD operator.

               This is free service in most states (MO to my knowledge).

  3. nate has the goods in the answer he /she gave; I wonder if you're asking about TTY which every state has, its a free service provided by all companies as demanded by gov't, and easy to use but you need the special, very expensive equipment;

    also getting assistance with that equpt'm is possible through state agencies like ADA and the phone company you use ie- AT/T, comacast, Verizon;  they all know how to help

    you with TTY>

      other than that,   NATES the man!

  4. ALL corded phones are hearing aid compatible under the Americans With Disabilities Act.

    Amplified phones are for those without hearing aids.

    www.hellodirect.com has a good assortment of amplified handsets and aplified phones.
