  1. heyy

I'm at school also and i wish i was clever like you! im usually getting average scores!

I bet deep inside they are mega jealous of you and wished they were as smart as you!

Don't let them get you down, they are not worth worrying about.

Just think you will probs get a much better job than them! lol

    Just ignore them...

    Good luck! x

  2. If you don't want to be in that position, when someone asks how you did on a test just say "I did well"or "Why?". Don't tell them your actual score.

  3. Now come on don't you think being called a boff is really a sort of compliment?  I think it shows your peers expect you to do well and admire you. As a mother of a family, pretty clever but not 'way out there' as you seem to be I remember there was always a real 'clever clogs' in each and everyone's year. We all expected the particular person to do well but my family spoke as if it was expected of the individual, really respected how clever the person was but still told me proudly of the high marks the person achieved.  Most really clever people are nice, just as you sound so without neglecting your studies just get on well with your class mates. Think about it, if they ask your marks and you lie they are not going to think much of you.  Providing they ask YOU, you just tell the truth.  The shoe would be on a different foot if it was YOU that was boasting about your marks.  Okay? Chin up, enjoy what you have achieved and realise there is 99% no malice against what you get mark wise.  The other 1%? The minority will find fault with everything so don't ever let that worry you.

  4. I think deep down they admire you for your grades, but are too proud or unhappy with their own results to admit it.  If they get that upset, you could offer to study with them.  Or just reply with something like "I did pretty good" and let it go at that.

  5. Be proud that you're smart - enjoy the good grades and the prosperity it will bring you someday - the others are lazy and jealous - just remember that....

  6. It's very annoying now, but you'll be the one having the last laugh when they're working in McDonalds and you've got a great career!

Keep up the good work x

  7. i completely understand - i've been in the same situation.

-- for friends: try asking them nicely not to call you that - sya that you don't like it and it makes you feel bad

-- for other people in the class: ignore it. asking them to stop won't change it, so just try hard to forget it (i know it's tricky)

-- and a tip on how to deal with the grades comments: when people sit there talking about how they did and how you're clever or something, just sort of smile a little and shrug; don't deny that your grades were good, because that's false modesty; don't brag about the grades either. just a smile and a shrug and maybe steer the conversation away.

  8. Feel Proud that you are getting Good Grades, Keep up the good work :) or if they ask again just dont tell them, they can't be good friends if they are calling u names. xxxx

  9. Smile and agree with them, they'll soon lose interest if they get the wrong response. It's called reverse psychology.

  10. I'm in the same situation

and then when they beat my score they're really rude

I guess just don't tell them if they ask

or if you do tell them and they start calling you a boff

    just be like:

"you asked so I told you."

  11. Be proud.... I would love to be natrally clever ! I would be rather called a boff than thick ! xx

  12. jus rise above it. they are only saying that to you because they're jealous. you shouldnt have to hide who you are because of some people dont like to be shown up.
