Question

So I'm going to summer camp even though I'm 13. (It sounds fun, okay?) It's my first time going and I have a million questions. Answer some if you want.

1.Will I get privacy??

2.What if I get too homesick??

3.I've sleepwalked before (only once), what if I sleepwalk myself into the pool and drown??

(There's WAYYY more to that.)

Well camp isnt to bad. My son went to camp once. He had a great time.

You will get privacy, maby not as much as you are getting now, but you will have enough to get by for a few weeks. you can always talk to the cabin leader of the issue. or just ask it on yahoo? lol

If you get home sick, just ask to call home. Ask a camp nurse, or a camp leader to use a phone to call home. If it helps, just take a picture of them along. Then you can think of how much fun you will have without them!

If you have only sleep walked once, than im sure you wont do it again just because ur in a different place. If it helps, maby tie a bell to your foot or a string to your foot and the bed.( theres no way you can take the bed sleep walking!) lol. If you are certian it is going to happen, talk to the camp nurse or cabin leader. they can maby lock the windows and doors for you. or find another place for you to sleep. That way you dont go anywhere.

My parents sent me to CHRISTIAN camp starting at 13 up until I was 15.  You will get some privacy, granted how much I&#039;m not sure because I think every place varies.  Every time I was there I cried...like everyday.  I hated being away from home.  I&#039;d take some pictures with you and make sure you write to your family.  Don&#039;t worry about the sleepwalking.  A lot of camps...I think make a counselor sleep in the cabin or whatever it is with you.  So don&#039;t worry about it.  At the one I went to they had cabins and &quot;dorms&quot;.  I slept in both.  I hated the cabins and that is when one of the counselors slept in there with us.  In the dorms we were all in rooms and the counselors all slept in one room.

No privacy what so ever. I&#039;m 14 and I went for the past like 5 years. But if you&#039;re a generally a likeable person, you&#039;ll get to know fellow campers and it will be like one giant sleepover. Fun! I&#039;ve seen people go to camp for two days and leave because they were homesick. One was my friend, and as soon as I talked to her back in town she said that she totally regretted it! No matter what your rents are always gonna be there and they just want you to have fun. So just slap yourself a little bit and think that this is just practice for college. haha. Ohhh the pool will be gaited, don&#039;t worry bout it. Plus conselours will be a graveyard duty and will stop you. Have fun, and if you&#039;re about to get care packages, tell your folks to send many!!! Have fun and enjoy!!!

Ok it sounds like your pretty nervous but just relax. I bet a lot of other girls are worrying just like you.

If you get too homesick you can always call your parents to call and pick you up if it is really bad. But if you are just missing them don&#039;t worry you will forget soon enough.

I doubt you will sleepwalk at all but 4 some reason if you do, and walk into the pool, you will prob. wake up from the coldness of water lol.

It really depends on your camp.  And what&#039;s weird about going to camp at 13?  If you get homesick try to find something to distract yourself, you&#039;ll get so caught up in having fun you&#039;ll forget all about your homesickness.  Just go and have fun.
