At&t dsl with my laptop do I still need a modem?

Okay well i just ordered AT&T DSl and it is getting turned on tomorrow, I have a DELL laptop which already has wireless internet i just dont get any free connection in my apt im in now, so once they turn on my line tomorrow should i automatically be connected from my wireless or do i have to use some kind of cables or modems. I dont kno to much about this so bare with me please. I hope i made sense. Thanks in advance!

just stick the Ethernet DSL cable right into your wireless router. and you're good to go! piece of cake! hope i helped :-)

Yes you do need a wirelss card that plugs into the USB port on the side of your laptop and ATT is giving them to its users. It's been advertised on TV> CAT

Did you order any hardware with your DSL?

You need a modem and a router.  Often, these can be in the same box.

They should give you a modem and help you set it up when they come out tomorrow.
