Question

alright i'm in my mid teens and have had a pink motorola at&t (cingular) phone since october, 2006. last night i dropped my phone in someone's pool. yeah i know it sucks. my sim card got messed up and the whole phone is ruined. this totally isn't like me, i mean i've had a phone for so long. i know the at&t company won't understand that. are there any really cheap at&t phones i can get. i'm getting a nice phone with a keyboard for christmas but until then i need a really cheap phone. dont care about quality. just need texting and pics. thanks. appreciate it (:

Yes! I just got one as a matter of fact.  You can go online to att.com and upgrade the phone you have--since you have had it since &#039;06 I&#039;m sure you are eligible.  They have free upgrade phones, but you do have to pay the $18 upgrade fee. (hey, its way better than paying for an expensive new phone!).   I would recommend getting the Samsung 727 (its free) or the LG CE110.

You can check out the website for any deals. The cheapest phones they have are usually Nokias which, in my experience, are very sturdy but don&#039;t have the best features. They offer a lot of free phones, but in order to be eligible you have to sign a new two year contract.

If you get a refurbished phone with a 2 year contract &amp; mail-in rebate then you can get phones REALLY cheap.  I actually got a palm centro for free today online. =]
