At&t tilt or shine without data package?

Question

if i get this phone i will not be getting the data packet is it still worth it? im a texting freak or should i get the shine?

Definitely the SHINE, it is very cool, plus if you aren't getting the data package then the Tilt is not that cool.

Plus, My friend had the Tilt and the top broke from just sliding it to mch

i am getting the shine and i do text often but i am used to the number key bored thing.  so it wont be hard for me.  if i was you i would say stay with the tilt.  unless u want a phone like that then ya and ive herd that the key bored is sorta small on the shine but idc.
