At&t two year contract?

i really want to buy an iphone, but i just got a phone with a two year contract. do i have to wait two years before i can buy it?

that means u have to have that phone for 2 yrs before u buy another phone, if u want to buy another u have to pay full retail price

No you don't. Since you just bought your phone, exchange your phone for the new iPhone. You have up to 30 days to test out any one on AT&T. Your 30 days are not up yet.  Exchange it. Then you can get the new iPhone 3G.
