  1. I generally leave a dollar, that way the bartender doesn't think you're an *** and doesn't mess up your drinks. OR--start a tab that way you can just leave one at the end of the night.

  2. Yea you have to. I have alot of friends that bartend and rely on those tips.  I usally a dollar a drink

  3. It is always polite to leave a tip.  Service people have lower wages because they're supposed to be able to make up the difference in tips.  If the service is worthy -- leave a bigger one.

  4. You tip on the service, not on the number of drinks.

If I have one drink, i will tip a dollar

  5. Always leave a tip. Even if its two bits (50 cents) per drink.

That's why it's cheaper to just drink at home. Have some friends over, watch the tele, and have a glass of wine and the rocks or whatever. Save your money.

  6. Yes, people generally leave a tip if they have only one drink.

  7. in America you tip everyone and there brother its freaking stupid.....

  8. yes

  9. one drink one dollar tip. but as the night goes on you don't have to tip evry time you get a drink.

  10. i usually tip $1 per drink

  11. Not leaving one is usually a good way of making sure that the next time you return to bar of not getting good service, if any. I like to leave a big one at the start, it tends to pay off for the rest of the night, heavier pours, faster service etc.

Plus it's good money karma....also I'm a bartender and i know where they're coming from, it's hard work.
