  1. well id say considering our size in population which is 4million people is only the size of a city in a america.. we punch above our weight..  

    we done well in shot put with villi..  

    we got bronze in the 1500m with nick willis and or rowing teams done well..  

    but back before the 1980's is when new zealand done its best.

  3. Rowing, they did well in that. Maybe cycling and triathlon events too ?

    Oh and Valerie Villi in shot put did alright.

  6. New Zealand traditionally do well in Rowing and still water kayak and also in Cycling.  For a country of its size they do very well but with such a small population base they can't be expected to be strong across a wide range of sports.
