Do they get back together? Won't they just eventually break-up again?

They do get back together and it is a bit confusing..but the ending, in my opinion, shows that Joel and Clementine realize that even though their personalities will clash and that they've had a failed relationship, it isn't going to stop them from trying to be together. The option of *not* being together being the worst option for them shows how strong their love is. They've come to terms with the way they *know* they'll be.

The whole ending really ties everything up, so if you haven't seen it you definitely should!~
