  1. I don't understand your question, but charity helps those who receive the help, which is an upside for them.  As far as the give goes, the upside could include tax benefits and good feelings about one's self for having helped others.

  3. No.  The only upside to charity is found in the short-term.  No good exists in the long-term (end-of-the-day).

  4. yess!!! you feel good knowing you helped, you might've put a smile on someone's face, you might've been the helping hand that was stretched out when no one else was there, you made a difference

  5. That all depends on the person and motivation for an act of charity.   In our house there is always an open mind to the needs of others, charity comes in many forms, sizes and shapes...
