For starters, the word is AMEN. To me, amen is said at the end of a prayer to say that you agree with what that person has prayed for or thanked God for. If somebody prayed for something bad to happen or thanked God for when something bad happened to somebody I would not say Amen. The definition of Amen is:used to express solemn ratification (as of an expression of faith) or hearty approval (as of an assertion.) There are two pronunciations of the word and I believe that when you wrote this question you wrote OMEN because of how one of the pronunciations sound. I hope that this helps you. people interprite it wrong. like so old people say oman. i think you can say it ether way but the corecte proper saying is A man old people were taght like saying oman.
