At the shorline ampitheater in mountain view is the lawn far away from the stage?

Yeah, it's pretty far.  You can hear fine, but there are probably 50-60 rows of seats (and the VIP boxes) in front of you.  You can see the performers, but don't count on catching all the details of their faces and such.
