At their peak, who was the greater player: Steve Davis or Stephen hendry?

hendry. the only area davis was better in was safety. hendry's long potting and break building were the better of the two and temperament was about even.  when hendry was at his peak you knew if you gave him 1 chance or even half-chance it was sit-down time for the rest of the frame i saw hendry beat doherty in the uk champs final 1 year and for about 5 or 6 frames the only shot ken had was to break off it was unreal.
