Port Adelaide were 8th and Geelong were 1st.

Could this mean a Carlton v Geelong GF this year? :)

It's not a bad theory, Carlton are a very good chance of playing finals football, but they won't be in the Grand final. Port Adelaide still had the main group of experienced players that took them to the Main stage 3 or 4 years earlier, with a few young blokes thrown in for good measure. Carlton are still a long way off playing for each other, the way Geelong, Hawks, Dogs are doing week in week out.

I doubt it!! Maybe in a few years but not now. They still have to consolidate their spot in the 8. They might not even make the finals yet. It would be great if they did however unlikely it may sound coz that would guarentee the cats 8th premiership!!
