  1. The shark reef is very safe.  There are life guards all over the thing in case anyone needs help.

There is no height limit, but they do have life jackets if you feel you might need one.

It does not cost extra money and is included in your admission.  You can go through it as much as you want.

I saw lots of pretty big fish in there.  The coolest are definitely the small hammer head sharks and rays.

  2. het dude i liove in orlando...the reef is awesome...it is completely safe, their are sharks, 3 to 5 feet long, but they swim on thee bottom, and u snorckle at the top. they dont bother you. it is free, i promise.  and their is no height limit...jus no infants. have fun!!!

  3. Yes it's safe.

No it does not cost extra.

The 'largest' fish is a Nurse Shark.

As for the height ???, it is not a matter of height, it is a matter if you can swim. I am not talking about the 'doggie paddle', I am talking about solid strong swimming skills.

You will need to be able to swim the entire length of Shark Reef WITHOUT stopping (you can swim slow), but you need to keep swimming and you can NOT turn around as it is a ONE WAY trip (you can go as many times as you like, but you can only swim in one direction).

For those who have poor swim skills, there is a underwater viewing station that makes you feel like you are on a ship.

For the record, Nurse Sharks are used because they are the most docile and it takes a lot to get them riled up.

    Hope that helps.
