  1. I,m not sure what you are worried about, As far as i know the savanah monitor DOES not have a dangerous bite. If you could elaborate that would help.

  2. I would say about 2 feet I would start to be really careful anything over 3 watch your fingers.

  3. Well, if your monitor tries to bite you then it is something to worry about now. You need to try to tame him a bit more, as savanna monitor bites will crush bone with ease when they are fully grown. I would of thought by the time he reaches around 2 feet would be the time to start taking precautions. Also, if you are worried now, wear strong gloves to protect yourself. I  was asked to look after a monitor for some time a while ago, and my arms were very scratched, and i had some very nasty cuts, got some weird looks in casualty i can tell you!

    hope i helped :)x

  4. from your question, i can tell you dont know much about monitors. you should be asking how to properly keep your sav.  not asking questions about its teeth if your not caring properly for your sav. it wont live long enough for its teeth to be an issue. E_MAIL ME and we can go over how to set him up correctly or, check out my past answers( i love sav questions!!) and please for the sake of you sav do not listen to anyone on yahoo Q&A about monitor care, nearly everyone is filled with recycled, bad info.BEWARE COMPUTER CHAIR/CARE SHEET EXPERTS.

p.s. here is a few pics of my sav. doing thing behaviors most people NEVER see with their animals because they are cluelesshttp://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r220/...
