  1. You have to be at least 18

  2. 18 in the US.

  3. Most airlines are hiring applicants with at least 2,000 hours of flight time.  Starting at age 18, figure out how many hours per year you can fly, and that will give you the number of years.

Realistically, most applicants are about 30-35 years old, and may already have substantial career experience behind them in other forms of commercial piloting.

  4. min 23 for a any postion that requires an ATP- Captain of a 121, or 135 operation that requires it.  You could be hired at 18 as an FO with a commerical pilot cert, but chances are very rare, unless you have alot of flight experience.

  5. 18 for your commerical Pilots certificate

    23 for a ATP.

Most Airlines Require you are atleast 23
