  1. I've been reading up on 6 month olds (b/c mine is now that age) and, to my understanding, 6 months is when they can see pretty much as clearly as they ever will.  They can see right away, just not very far and the distance increases for the 1st 6 months.


  2. Actually you are learning how to see until about 9 years old. Your brain has to learn to link what is seen with what is done with an item. Lets say a person lost their vision when they were 3 years old, and got their vision back at 45. They have not properly learned how to see and so they still have a long road ahead of not being able to see clearly until their brain learns.
