  1. WHEN YOU ARE 8, 9, 10, 11, OR 12 MORE THAN 4’9” (57 INCHES) TALL MAY USE AN ADULT SEATBELT, BUT MUST KEEP YOUR BACK AGAINST THE SEAT BACK, YOUR KNEES BENT OVER THE EDGE OF THE SEAT, AND YOUR FEET FLAT ON THE FLOOR IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR.

WHEN YOU ARE MORE THAN 12 YEARS OLD MORE THAN 4’9” (57 INCHES) TALL MAY SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OF THE CAR WITH AN ADULT SEATBELT.

  2. 12 years old. If you are under 5" though, you may have to travel in the back due to airbag safety. Someone else mentioned the fact that a child must be rear facing, this actually couldnt be more wrong. Rear facing seats are deadly if the airbag deploys, and are actually illegal across america, australia and europe. They even post it on a sticker on the sun visor of most cars. Someone didnt do their research.

  3. 15 when you can get your learners permit, other than that -----

Sit down, shut up and hold on ....

  4. any age but if they are under 4 years or 40 lbs they must be in a rear facing carseat
