At what age can Beardies eat mealworms, super worms etc...?

I have a 4 month old rankin dragon (very much alike beardies) and i was wondering what sort of age can they start having mealworms, super worms etc. any recomendations on what is the best things to feed them?

Its about size, not age.

Seeing that mealworms are long, thin and bendy - i'd suggest feeding mealworms that are as wide as the mouth is across.

At 4 month old you certainly wouldn't be feeding super worms, you should be feeding mealworms that are about 1inch long.

Any other food, such as crickets and locusts shouldn't be fed if larger than the space between their eyes.

Waxworms are ok any size, but only as a treat.

Forget all that harmful too hard to digest rubbish - niave people being led by idiots... I know breeders who have had much higher life expectancy by trying a diet of 100% mealworms.

I believe they can eat all the above as long as it isn't wider than it's head.  One problem is that wax worms and meal worms don't have a good balance of nutrition, crickets offer the best calcium/phosphorus balance but if you want to feed it other things then you might want to supplement them with vitamins.  They apparently like veggies too:  dandelions, mustard, turnip, cabbage, sprouts, green beans and runner beans...while young it would be best to stick to the insects and as they grow older you can introduce/replace more veggies into their diet.

At about four to five months old it is usuallly safe to feed them mealworms. But in moderation only- the hard exoskeleton of the mealworm is difficult to digest.

i asked the same question and the answer i got was when thy can swallow a locust hole.but if you are worried just cut the heads of and then thy can eat them now
