  1. 16 years old.  No race track in the U.S. will give any type of race track license (groom, exercise rider, jockey, etc.) to any person under the age of 16 years old.


  2. depends on where you are ,, over here in australia you can get an apprenticeship as a jockey at 16

  3. Talk to your parents if you really want to do this and they can see about getting you a coach.

  4. you can start out exercising at the age of 14 and get your jockeys licence at 16 from most tracks
