At what age can a minor work and receive pay in maryland?

my dad is pushing me to get a job. im only 14. but i was just wondering when i could get a job.

please dont say babysitting. ive done that way to much.

I know someone who started work at 15, but they needed some kind of waiver. At 16, myself, I didn't.

just worry about homework , school grades and being a good 'kid' and tell Dad to put in some overtime .......
