  1. 'Doe' is the name for a female deer of certain species - for example, white-tailed deer and fallow deer (other deer species have different gender names, such as cow for female moose and hind for female red deer). It's also the name for female rabbits, and rodents such as rats and mice. I think the word you're looking for is fawn - that's the name for baby deer in which the mother is a doe (in species where the females are called cows or hinds, the young are called calves).

To answer your question, baby deer can see as soon as they're born. They are born fully-furred with their eyes open, and are able to walk within an hour of birth. If the one you're seeing is blind, there is something wrong with it.

In response to some of your other answers, I'd just like to point out that many animals are born blind (with their eyes closed), including cats, rabbits, rats, mice, etc.

  2. Cats are the only animal I know of that cannot see from birth, and they keep their eyes closed during this time.

I think that deer/does can see from the minute they're born, but I'm no expert on them.

  3. Oh it can see.  Deer are born with the ability to see.  Very few mammals are born blind.

  4. Although your question doesn't make sense, every animals are born with sight. If it doesn't see, it's dysfunctional.
