  1. 4 months > but i think its cruel at early age

5 months i think is best

  2. My baby rabbit has just reached 5 months old and whilst he is my first buck, I personally think he is too young to be neutered yet. Rabbits need their hormones for growth and development so the longer they are 'left' the better. When I took him for his myxo and VHD jabs when he was tiny, his vet advised no earlier than 6 months.

He's a houserabbit, and my only bunny so there's no risk of babies, so I want to leave him as long as I can tolerate it - his moodswings are horrendous at times (in fact my friend slapped a pretend ASBO and restraining order on his hutch door). He's also hellbent on destroying the house but that too could be partly hormonal (in fact most of it probably is).

Leave your bunny as long as possible - grin and bear it, lol

  3. When I asked my vet when i could get my rabbit neutered he said to wait until he was about 5 months although they can neutered around 3 months but it isn't nice on the rabbit.

    Hope my answer helps aswell

  4. its around 5 months, but some vets may differ. it costs about £50 :)

  5. It depends when their testicles descend, but normally at around 5 months old.

  6. we have two rabbits and we got them done when they were about 7 months most vets will say 6 months but i think this is too young, 7 months is probably better. hope this helps!!

  7. my vet wanted me to get mine neutered and told me to go back when he is 6 months as this is round about when they reach sexual maturity

  8. I would get them neutered at around 6 months old after their testicles descend
