  1. When you are one minute old if you are next in line

  2. Age is not a factor at all, rather the person's position in the line of succession is all that matters. For instance, if Charles and Anne (children of the current Queen of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth II) had died in infancy, Andrew would have automatically been first in line of succession at birth, since his mother was Queen by then. If Her Majesty had died in childbirth (thankfully she did not) *immediately* after Andrew had taken his first breath, he would have immediately become King of the United Kingdom since he would not have had older siblings.

However, in such a case, a regency would be put in place and Andrew would not have "taken over" until he reached the age of majority.

  3. Technically at birth, if you're the only child of a sovereign that had the bad taste to die while you were in the womb.

This doesn't mean the realm won't be held in regency till your majority (18 nowadays, I guess, though there have been kings who took the throne quite a bit younger in centuries past.), but you are, by birthright, the king, from the moment you were born the only suitable heir to a defunt monarch.

  4. That person would have to be the age of majority, which is 18 now,in order to REIGN. But,upon the death of a monarch, the monarch's heir automatically assumes the title. A regent wold be appointed to reign for a monarch who is still a minor.

  5. There is no limit, however, you will have a regent until you are 18.

  6. 25
