infant to elderly. they can cause abdominal pain, blood in urine, and urinary retention. treated by increase fluid intake, medication - pain, muscle relaxants, or surgery if unable to pass on own. it can be very painful. you can get them from being dehydrated, drinking too much milk, or sometime unknown causes. good luck

at any age, most of the time a kidney stone is a calcium deposit, that clogs your urinary tract and is as painful as giving birth, it has been said. It usually has tiny little spikes all over it. Don't over do foods with an abundance of calcium and the likelihood goes down. (you still need some of course).

you can get kidney stones at any age. It isn't just your parents and grandparents. I knew a girl who at 16 passed a kidney stone.
