  1. You can have a stroke at any age, it depends on the condition in your heart, if you have a blood clot, you could have a blockage some place in the arteries.  Age does not matter.

  2. Stroke can occur at any age, but the prevalence increases as age advances.

  3. IF YOU ARE WORRIED AS THIS CAN BE SERIOUS  GO AND TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR AS IT IS NOT A GOOD TAKING NON MEDICAL ADVICE

  4. HI well anybody can get a stroke at anytime, stress and bad diet is a high risk factor. The best advice i can give you is eat healthy: greens, fruits, lots of water at least 1 gallon a day green tea is a good source of antioxidants and keeps your arteries flexible. take a baby aspirin a day (Check first with your doc for any allergies) but your still young and you getting a stroke is low if you have a history in your family of strokes see your doc at least every 6 months as guys we tend not to see a doc till its to late. JUST STAY HEALTHY

  5. Go to Mayoclinic.com , click on Diseases and Conditions, find Stroke, and it has VERY good detailed information (what it is, causes, risk factors, treatment, prevention , etc)

It can happen at any age, but the older you are, the more likely you are to get it. My relative had a stroke at 37.

  6. Yes, it can happen at any age although the chances are generally higher as people get older and less active.

A stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is interrupted because of a clot or aneurysm.  Your best defense is a healthy cardivascular system- A healthy diet with lots of fruits and veggies, keeping your blood pressure and cholesterol under control and plenty of exercise are key.

  7. You're not too young, my wife had a stroke at 21!  Blood clots, stress, etc. can cause a stroke.  She had a small hole between chambers of her heart, a small clot got through and she had a left-hemispherical stroke.  An aspirin a day (if you're not allergic) can help thin the blood and dissolve small clots.

  8. you can have it at almost any age. make sure you're eating right and not too much of things.

  9. There is no age minimum or maximum.  I had a stroke at 18 and I've met kids who had a stroke in the womb.

A stroke is a lack of blood flow to the brain.  I know more about stroke from emboli (blood clots) because that is what I had.  My strokes were due to a combination of a genetic clotting disorder and a hole in my heart called a PFO.  There are many other reasons that people have strokes though.

To prevent a stroke, eat healthy low cholesterol food, excersise often, and pay attention to warning signs.  I had neurological symptoms since I was ten which I ignored because I thought I was still too young to have a stroke.  Tingling, face drooping, one side weakness, sudden dizzines, headaches, visual disturbances, loss of balance, etc. are all signs of a stroke or TIA.

Go to this website for a better list of warning signs/symptoms of a stroke:   http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.j...

If you have any concerns about your health talk about it with your doctor.

  10. At any age you can have a stroke.
