At what age can you hunt with ferrets?

There is no age limit, just enjoy it, and the fresh rabbits of course.

Any age.  If anyone asks - you were taking your ferret out for a walk, it ran off, killed something, and Bob's your uncle!  

I would reference hawk-hunting if I were you - that seems like a more common practice.  I would think that if there is an age restriction, then it would be the same for both.

Call up a local sheriff's department and get the information from them.

Dolphin (and Barbie V)- that's what ferrets are for, it's what they do. It's completely natural behavior and it's good exercise and play for them. They would do it in the wild. Besides, the rabbits get eaten, they're not just being killed for fun.

Hunting with ferrets?  I thought only the Beastmaster did that.  If you do decide to use ferrets for hunting you should definately watch Beastmaster if you've never seen it.

well in my eyes you should never hunt with ferrets

I think it is totally sick to go out and scare rabbits to death or send a ferret down into their home

Have you also read the book  'Hunting the Hunters' thats a scary one and if you can find a copy and digest it you will never hunt again.
