  1. there is no age.  everyone is different.  Some people are late bloomers and some are early.  There really is no way to tell at a certain age.

You cant always look at the parents either.  My parents are both 5'5" and my older brother is 5'11" and I am 5'9."  my friend and his brother are both smaller than their father but larger than their mother

  2. i have read in several books that at age 2 or 3 (i cannot recall right off hand) that a child is half their adult height. i'm pretty sure its 2 years old though!

  3. At some point in the late teens, or anytime by looking at who he/she gets their genes from.

  4. You can never tell. My brother was always short and once he hit 14 he got taller than me.

  5. Im not sure if this is true or not but I was told that on your childs second birthday, measure him/her and double the size and that is how tall they will be.

  6. I dont really think you can tell for sure untill they are grown. My brother was a big baby but after about 2 he was smaller than all his freinds. He was always one of the smallest on the football team and among his other friends. Once he hit 17-18 he started to grow like crazy. Hes 23 now and about 6'3 and 190lbs...Hes very well built and strong.

  7. In their early teens

  8. There are several methods I have heard of, but I think you have to take each of them as a guess-timate.  They may take into account the child's current percentile in height, the parent's heights, etc.  The older the child is, the more weight you can put on the answer.  I've included links to several different online calculators for you to enjoy.
