  1. By 4th/5th grade - of course appropriate to their age.

Some children this age ARE experimenting and/or going through puberty, and need to know what is true/not true. They do not need all of the details like older students (contraception, STD;'s, homosexuality), but they should most definitely know the basics as they can either learn the truth or pick up bad information from the playground.

Not all parents feel comfortable sharing this information. Also, many parents do not realize how much c**p and bad information about sexuality children pick up from TV, movies, music, books/magazines and so on.

  2. about 13-14..when the hormones start raging.

  3. Well it should be at the grade of 7th because most girls have their periods and other things like that are coming and things like that so it should be 7th would be more appropriate

  4. At the pubic age.

  5. By 4th/5th grade - of course appropriate to their age.

In my school district, this information is provided to 5th graders with parental permission.
